Colchagua Valley stands out for its red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Merlot and some strains of Malbec. These wineries have won prestige worldwide because of the architecture and concept of the tours, that are more sophisticated than in the rest of the country. You will experience all this in the two wineries that we are going to visit.

 

The first one is Viña Viu Manent, which has an equestrian tradition; this is one of the few Chilean vineyards that produce Malbec and the tour starts with a carriage trip pulled by huge horses throughout the vineyards and wine cellars, and it ends with wine tasting. There is also a restaurant that serves delicious food.

 

The second one is Viña Lapostolle, an organic winery that dazzles with its magnificent architecture. Established by French founders, their gorgeous installations and supreme grape management are astonishing. In the tour, we will visit different areas of their installations and taste extraordinary wines.
