Pucon is located in Chile´s 9th region, the region of Araucania, which features native Mapuches, Araucaria trees, Volcanoes and beautiful lakes. It is one of the best places for eco-touring. This is why every year you can find more and more conservational initiatives being taken for Pucon, all of these initiatives established for the sake of preserving town surroundings and volcanoes to have a true garden of Eden on Earth. Here you can find the famous Villarica volcano and the lake which shares the same name.

 

It is here that we have developed a program full of nature and adventure. During these activities we can do rafting, canopy, trekking in Huerquehue National Park (Villarica volcano ascension optional), hot springs, Pucon city tour and surroundings, and others. Your tour leader (guide) will be with you all the time from your arrival to Pucon.     

 

Day 1

We meet early in the morning at Temuco´s airport or at Pucon´s Bus Terminal, depending on the case.

We check in at the selected hotel (there are many options to pick from). Guide Welcome.

Lunch at a typical Pucon´s restaurant that offers a great variety of meat and fish to enjoy. We can also pick an excellent vegetarian restaurant, if you prefer.

Later in the afternoon we are heading for our first adventure: Rafting (*details below).

After Rafting, we return to where we are staying to leave some things and change our clothes so that we can walk through Pucon and enjoy a beautiful city tour, to visit some more beautiful places and then go to nice restaurants to have dinner. After that, we return to the hotel at 10 pm in order to rest.

 

Day 2 (Villarica volcano and hot springs option)

We will start our day with a nice breakfast, later we will go 38 kilometers into the Andes mountain chain, towards Huerquehue National Park.

Here, we will go on a 5 hour hike.  On our way back to Pucon, we will be making a stop at “Termas Los Posones”, a natural and incredibly soothing hot springs site.  We will return to Pucon for dinner and later to the hotel.  At night, you will have free time to enjoy what Pucon´s nightlife has to offer (Pubs, Casino, etc… )

For those who wish to ascend to Villarica´s volcano top, there is a possibility to switch activities this day to have a volcano ascension, plus enjoying the hot springs for an additional fee.

 

Day 3

After our 10 am. breakfast, we will be heading for our next adventure:  Canopy in the ancient Native Forest. We go back to Pucon for lunch and later on we will go on a tour on the zone and get to know Lake Caburgua and “Los ojos del Caburgua” (Caburgua´s eyes). Dinner at Pucón. We will end our day in the hotel at 8pm, where visitors can rest.

 

Day 4

Transfer to Temuco´s airport or to Pucon´s Bus Terminal, depending on the case.
